Michael Osei Frimpong

Michael Osei Frimpong is a Software Engineer based in Accra, Ghana, with a background in Petrochemical Engineering and a strong passion for building practical, scalable software solutions. He combines an engineering mindset with hands-on software development experience to solve real-world problems across education, productivity, and digital systems.

He is the creator of Bengi, a suite of Telegram-based educational tools designed to improve how students access and interact with learning materials. Beyond edtech, Michael has developed workflow automation tools for small teams and explored data-driven approaches to problem-solving, demonstrating a strong interest in impactful, user-focused software.

Michael’s technical expertise spans backend development with .NET, ASP.NET, and F#, alongside experience with relational and non-relational databases, web technologies, and cloud platforms. He is particularly interested in how software can drive innovation in edtech, fintech, and engineering-focused solutions.

Professionally, he has worked with Luupli in multiple roles, including Junior Software Engineer, Quality Assurance Officer, and Product Manager, contributing to product development, quality assurance, and remote team collaboration. He has also served as a Project Manager and VR Development Intern at the KNUST College of Engineering Innovation Centre, where he gained exposure to emerging technologies and project execution.

In addition to his technical career, Michael has demonstrated strong leadership through his roles within the Association of Petrochemical Engineering Students (APCES), serving as President, committee member, and class representative. These experiences have strengthened his skills in leadership, communication, and stakeholder coordination.

Michael holds a Bachelor’s degree in Petrochemical Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and is committed to continuous learning and professional growth. He is focused on becoming a well-rounded Software Engineer and contributing meaningfully to innovative, high-impact projects.
